Hey gang,
We will be interviewing @PiersAnthony in a couple of weeks. Piers is a long time supporter of Linux and one of the few mainstream –using this term loosely– authors using it for serious writing. The piece itself will be an editorial about serious writing on the Linux platform.
Piers is and should be an inspiration to us all. At 77 years old he still runs nearly 2 miles a day and writes roughly 3 novels a year. Though he has been panned by critics for decades, his body of work is immense. He is as transparent as they come and is not afraid to fight for his rights as you might learn should you read one of his 2 auto-biographies.
Piers is a fantastic story-teller and a stubborn supporter of open-source software. Certainly not a defeatist by any means.
He is my favorite author and has inspired me to do so much. His indirect influence is part of who I am today.
Piers is currently finishing work on Xanth #37, Esrever Doom and expects to be finished within a week. Soon after, we will publish the interview.
He loves dirty jokes, so I will try to get him to tell one. In the mean time, what are some dirty jokes that I can tell him that will make him laugh?
Are you a Piers Anthony fan? If so, what would you ask him? I may add it to my list. Let us know in the comments below!
