Got an opinion that you just can’t itch?  Is there a news reporter stuck inside of you that needs a creative outlet?  Use Linux or Android and have a passion for open-source software?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then you may be a perfect candidate for contributing editor at The Powerbase.  

What is The Powerbase?  The Powerbase is a new website that looks to fill a niche that has yet to be filled on the Internet.  A top-notch, well edited, mainstream news and opinion source Ala’ Verge or Engadget, for open-source.

In The Powerbase‘s short 7 months of existence, we’ve been Slashdotted, featured on Hack-A-Day, and ranked all over Reddit, many, many times.  This is your chance to make your voice heard!

We are looking for the following types of articles:

  • Game Reviews (Android/Linux)
  • Hardware Reviews (Open source related)
  • News (Anything FOSS related, be it hardware, software, gaming, etc.)
  • Editorials

        Hi Dean,

        Few days ago, I tried to contact you using the ‘how to contribute’ link, and being a bit hectic, I accidentally hit the send button few times, only to realize that it had been sent the first time (didn’t see the small message that says ‘sent’).

        So I just feared that perhaps my message had been sent into a ‘spam’ folder, or automatically deleted by WP.

        If that is not the case, and you in fact have received it, then please ignore this, and I’m very sorry to trouble you like this.
